Now celebrating its 11th year, the ½ TIX program offers half-priced tickets to residents and visitors in the Berkshire community. Patrons can buy same-day half-priced tickets to cultural events at area ½ TIX Booths June 15 through September 2, 2012.
The 12 cultural venues participating in the 2012 ½ TIX Program are:
Barrington Stage Company
Berkshire Choral Festival
The Berkshire Fringe
Berkshire Theatre Group
The Capitol Steps at Cranwell Resort

A Traveler’s Best Friend
For some time now we have been offering discounted tickets for shows in Boston, New York, Washington, D.C. and elsewhere.
If you travel a lot on business or pleasure, then you will want to sign up for the weekly emails from our affiliate, Goldstar Click here. They operate coast to coast in two dozen major cities, including all the major regional theatre hubs except the Berkshires, and we are working on that. But there’s no shortage of ways to get discounts in the Berkshires.
Berkshire Bound, Berkshire Resident?
Many of our resident performing companies have varying ticket discounts already in place for residents. Shakespeare & Company Click Me offers residents 40% off, and Tanglewood Click Me has a variety of special deals for lawn seats and rehearsals. There is also the 1/2 Tix Operation which runs seasonally from mid June to Labor Day at several locations in and around the Berkshires. The 2012 dates and locations are in this article.
