Berkshire on Stage welcomes your comments, news releases, photos, videos and interest. To reach us, send an e-mail to: BerkshireLarry @ gmail.com (remove the extra spaces)

Comments

Comments on an article can also be made by using the Comment Icon at the bottom of each story. We do look at them before publishing so we can remove the inevitable spam that arrives.

News Releases

We welcome news releases as long as they relate the performing arts in the Berkshires, Boston and New York, the three points of interest that we cover on a regular basis. Since we are highly visual in our coverage, send a photo or two, and even a link to a YouTube or Vimeo video which we will often embed.

Live Performing Arts Only

We cover the performing arts exclusively. We do not normally cover galleries, exhibitions and museums except when there is something on stage, as there is at Mass MoCA for example. We also cover selected films and movies, especially the local film festivals, and films that play one of the eight Berkshire venues. (Remember that MAss MoCA, Clark Art and the Berkshire Museum all have film programs.)

Please, No Listings

We do not maintain a “calendar” and would rather spend our time giving an in-depth look at an upcoming performance so that the reader can make an informed choice.

Advertising

We do not currently accept advertising. We do accept paid links. We will consider Affiliate programs. (Our half price ticket offers are through Goldstar’s Affiliate program for example which in turn is open to Berkshire events.)

Writers, Reporters, Reviewers Needed

As with any online publication, we are always open to news writers on the topics we cover, and put out the welcome mat for new contributors. If you want to write about theatre, music, dance etc. and are somewhere in the US, let us know. However we are not looking for generic sponsored stories (the latest trend in on-line publishing) but for original reviews and articles about the ever-changing arts and entertainment scene. Write me at LarryMurray @ gmail.com telling a little about yourself and what you have in mind.
