“Doubt” Opens March 17 at Schenectady Civic Players

doubt-200x200SCHENECTADY – Award winning DOUBT, A Parable, by John Patrick Shanley and directed by Tom Templeton, opens Friday, March 17 and runs through Sunday, March 26, at Schenectady Civic Players, 12 South Church Street in
Schenectady’s historic Stockade district.

In this brilliant and powerful drama, Sister Aloysius, a Bronx
school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of improper relations with one of the male students.

The Civic Players cast features Cristine M. Loffredo (as
Sister Aloysius), Ben Katagiri (as Father Flynn), Meigg Jupin (as Sister
James), and Angelique Powell (as Mrs Muller).

DOUBT, A Parable runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday (March 17,
18, 19) and Wednesday through Sunday (March 22 through 26).  Wednesday and
Thursday curtains are at 7:30 pm; Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm; and
Sundays are matinees only at 2:30 pm.
