APRIL

30        Shanara Gabrielle: Tilting at Windmills. Accomplished recording artist from regional theater and television (Conviction, Chicago Fire, Guiding Light).  7          Women Who Sing. Singing news anchor Benita Zahn, with Lynne Kerr, Sue Caputo & Keri Alonzo. Close harmonies, theatrical trios and quartets, and impassioned solos; the Andrews Sisters and the Supremes on steroids. $20. Reservations: 518.854.9200. 2 PM.

21        Rhyme on My Hands. Funny and forgotten songs performed by Byron Nilsson with pianist Malcolm Kogut.  The humor of clever wordplay and well-wrought rhymes, for an audience that does its crossword puzzles in ink. $20. Reservations: 518.854.9200. 2 PM

JUNE

 4,          Deborah Young-Weiler in Concert. By popular demand, Young-Weiler (university instructor, symphony soloist and honky-tonk virtuoso) returns. Concert promises an eclectic program on the Fort’s Mainstage Steinway. $20. Reservations: 518.854.9200. 2 PM

 23-25   Tim Nelson’s Rip Van Winkle: A Musical. From Rose Center Theater, Westminster CA. Adapted by Nelson, based on oral history interviews in the Catskills, study of prior theatrical adaptations, and a fresh slant on Washington Irving’s text. $30 adult/$27 sr/$15 12&under.  14-16   Souvenir: A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins. A co-production with Bridge Street Theatre, Catskill, starring Alison Davy & Jay Kerr.
