Position: Drama/Theatre Teacher of Imagine That! Summer Program
Reports to: Education Program Manager

Job Description:
Primary objective is to be the lead faculty member for Imagine That summer program as part of the School of the Performing Arts at Proctors. Faculty will:

Teach basic performing art techniques and help each student develop these tools as individuals and as a class.

Inspire students to be creative and assist in creating an atmosphere of self- expression and self-esteem building.

Create an end of the week performance, showcasing the highlights of what the students learned throughout the week.

Be responsible for supervising students at all times during the Program.

Requirements:

Drama faculty must be trained in the tools and techniques of theatre arts. Experience in teaching drama to 9 – 13 year olds in a high energy, creative, fun environment that fosters self-confidence in each child, is a must. Faculty must be an ambassador of the School of Performing Arts at Proctors and have a dedication to arts education.

Period of Employment: Monday July 24 – Friday July 28, 2017 Hours: 8:30am-5pm

Compensation Details: Based on experience.
