Samantha Talora and Ron Ramsay

A chance encounter as guest artists at The Colonial Theatre brought them together in 2013.  A collaboration soon followed and Samantha Talora & Ron Ramsay, inspired by their shared love of decades of Broadway music, the Great American Songbook, classic standards and contemporary & popular music, have been weaving harmonies ever since.  With such performances as “Our Time”, “Cheek to Chic” and “Heart Song” they have been met with sell-out crowds and rave reviews at Whitney Center for the Arts, Ventfort Hall, Mr. Finn’s Cabaret and countless private and charitable events. Their eclectic music series, spanning a wide array of genres, has delighted audiences with special programs such as “A Sondheim Trilogy,” “A Night at the Oscars” and “The Chairman”- a tribute to Frank Sinatra in 2015 marking his centennial birthday celebration.   These, along with their popular holiday programs for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas (and more), have quickly become the ideal destination for a romantic date night, or a fun night with family and friends.  With stellar musicianship, passionate performances, and witty storytelling, this pair will make you laugh and cry and always leave you wanting more!
A Berkshire native, Ron Ramsay attended the High School for the Performing Arts in Dallas Texas and the Manhattan School of Music in NYC, making NYC his home. Classically trained, Ron crossed over to the Broadway and Cabaret scene in NYC. His cabaret nightclub acts have sold out such rooms as the Algonquin, Feinstein’s, Town Hall, Lincoln Center’s Rose Room and Judy’s Chelsea as well as venues in such locales as London, Paris and Mykonos.  The New York Post raves of past performances “unusually well stocked and thoughtful, high quality songs …always a sublime Songbook”.  Backstage and “one of the most well rounded and extraordinary shows in recent memory”.  Ron is also currently the Director of Music Programs at St. Ann’s Church in Lenox, MA.

Samantha Talora studied theater, voice at Wagner College in New York.  She has travelled and performed in various venues throughout the United States, including the Isaac Stern Auditorium at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall.  Samantha has had the pleasure of performing as a solo artist and guest artist in such Berkshire venues as Barrington Stage Company, The Colonial Theater, Canyon Ranch, Ventfort Hall and  Searles Castle.
